Client: Mr. & Mrs. P
Location: Brassey Square, BATTERSEA, SW11
Type of Project: Kitchen renovation.
Brief: With a tired, out of date kitchen in need of a total reincarnation guided by Luxor Interiors the room was given a modern design.
Wishing to avoid making the wrong decision on such a significant purchase they approached Luxor interiors for guidance through the maze of kitchen colours, textures, finishes and styles available to them.
To create ample worktop space the hob was positioned in a central location so there was plenty room either side for preparation. The oven and microwave combination were placed beneath to keep the clutter free simple style. Strada gloss light grey cabinets have a smooth finish without leaving smear marks helped create a calm, but light feel to the kitchen. The Zenith compact laminate worktop completed the design, sealed to give a non-porous finish. The glass wall in the kitchen turned out to be a surprising and eccentric insertion. As the glass is a reflective material, the glass panel made the kitchen look more spacious.
Working closely with the clients allowed us to meet their wish list of light modern kitchen with storage. The existing walk in larder was decorated and new doors made so that they were flush with the wall to seamlessly blend with the overall design. The Grey and rustic colours gave an earthy natural feel to the room and the worktop with its unique markings complimented the plain matt finish porcelain floor tiles.
“From our first meeting, Anas was welcoming, understanding and listened to all our requirements and expectations, incorporating our information into the kitchen designs. He is very knowledgeable of all the products and has a wonderful flare for colour and texture combinations. Most importantly he has given us a beautiful, very practical kitchen layout that looks unique, stunning and is extremely easy to keep clean! Just what I wanted”
